Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Thank you for the care and concern you shared this week for Diana O’Connor.
For those of you who are unaware, Diana fell ill over the Thanksgiving holiday and underwent emergency surgery on Monday, 11/30th for what we now know is a malignant brain tumor. We are heartbroken by the news.
As Diana’s friend and employer I am principally struck by the impulse to do what I can to make her situation better. This open letter is to share with you one way we’ve found.
This year Moye Consulting cancelled its annual delivery of evergreen wreaths to our clients across the US, and used the funds budgeted to seed this GoFundMe campaign. We all understand that the $25,000 target amount will not fix anything, but we hope it will relieve the immediate financial pressure that deductibles, coinsurance and expenses will present.
I ask that you join us in this assistance, but further ask that you share this with those in your professional network that know and care for Diana. The donations to this campaign will be made directly to Diana, and soon Diana’s sister Tish will step in to manage the campaign.
We have created an email account at which you can reach out to Diana directly. GoFundMe rules discourage the publication of the email addresses, so contact the folks at Moye Consulting or leave a note here and someone will get the address to you. I’m sure Diana will enjoy hearing from you and will respond at her discretion.
