Donations Towards Steph's Medical Expenses

Hello Everyone, My name is Steph of Maleny in Queensland. I recently had an operation in the course of which, damage was done to my larynx. My ability to both speak and sing has, as a result, been severely compromised. I have become permanently hoarse.

As you probably know, I have sung for most of my life, either professionally or as my major hobby/pastime. My choir Sweet Chilli has sung for our Maleny Community for twenty years, and I have performed in smaller ensembles too, the latest of which is Sirin. Losing my voice has come as a severe blow to me.

Brisbane's top voice specialist's investigations have shown my vocal chords to be in great shape (the good news!) but the joint mechanism that operates them has sustained damage that rest alone won't cure. An expensive day surgery procedure and follow-up specialist appointments are my only option.

So! I am screwing up my courage to ask for my community's help to bring me back to vocal health!
