Cindy's Cancer Fund

I thought last Thursday, April 20, 2017, was the worst day of my life.  That is when I received the confirmation that I have aggressive, rapid-growing breast cancer, the grade that may have already spread to other areas.   On the following day, April 21, I was told (less than 24 hours after my diagnosis) that I was being terminated from my position of 22 years in a workforce reduction.  My insurance now runs out in five weeks.  I'm looking at a minimum of one year of chemotherapy, at least 35 radiation treatments, surgery/surgeries, and the tons of blood tests, miscellaneous  appointments with co-pays, etc.   Just one of the chemo drugs will cost $64,000, and I will be receiving others.  I can't actively look for a new job as I will just be beginning treatment in the next weeks.   I'm actually embarrassed to even be asking for this help.
