Lucha Junto a mi ,Cáncer de Hueso -Bone Cancer

Hola, soy Sarah, tengo 16 años, llevaba una vida normal, muy feliz, cuando repentinamente hace dos años empezó un dolor en mi rodilla, intente una recuperación normal, pero el dolor permanecía, después de algunos exámenes más profundos descubrieron que tenía osteosarcoma en mi pierna izquierda, es decir cáncer de hueso, me sometí a quimioterapias y a una cirugía donde extrajeron el tumor y parte de los huesos de pierna y rodilla, me colocaron una prótesis, una cirugía muy dolorosa con una recuperación extenuante, donde tuvieron que realizar 4 nuevas cirugías posteriores. Pero eso no redujo mi ánimo por seguir adelante y continuar luchando por la vida.

Desafortunadamente el cáncer volvió y esta vez fue en mi pulmón, fui operada de nuevo en medio de múltiples sesiones de quimioterapia, pero la respuesta no fue positiva, pese a que extrajeron una parte de mi pulmón izquierdo, la respuesta no fue lo que esperábamos y los médicos en mi país se rindieron y me dieron solo meses de vida.

Pero mis padres no se rindieron, doy gracias a Dios por la bendición que es tenerlos en mi vida y dejaron todo para venir a los Estados Unidos a buscar un tratamiento experimental que podría ser la solución, para variar como es lo normal en estos casos, mi seguro también dio un paso al costado y hemos quedado solos a las puertas de intentar este tratamiento pero ya no tenemos los recursos, es por eso que hoy te pido que me acompañes con tu aporte en esta lucha por la vida, porque este regalo que es la vida también nos fue dado para cuidarlo y luchar a toda costa por mantenerlo, sabemos que no estamos solos y que Dios tiene un propósito para mi vida y nuestra familia.

El principal reto es que cuento con solo 4 días para conseguir 150.000 usd (ya se que suena imposible, pero creo en el milagro) para cubrir las radioterapias que mi cuerpo necesita para frenar el crecimiento de los tumores en esta primera etapa. Lo hermoso de este tratamiento es que su avance podría no solo ayudar en mi vida si no en la vida de muchos más niños que padecen esta enfermedad.

Espero que Dios toque tu corazón y podamos contar con tu bendición en este proceso, en este sueño que es liberarme de esta enfermedad.

Unfortunately the cancer came back and this time it was in my lung, I was operated again in the middle of multiple chemotherapy sessions, but the response was not positive, even though they removed a part of my left lung, the response was not what we expected and the doctors in my country gave up and gave me only months to live. 

But my parents did not give up, I thank God for the blessing it is to have them in my life and they left everything to come to the United States to look for an experimental treatment that could be the solution, for a change as is normal in these cases. my insurance also stepped aside and we have been left alone at the gates of trying this treatment but we no longer have the resources, that is why today I ask you to accompany me with your contribution in this fight for life, because this gift that It is life, it was also given to us to take care of it and fight at all costs to maintain it, we know that we are not alone and that God has a purpose for my life and our family.

 The main challenge is that I only have 4 days to get 150,000 usd (I know it sounds impossible, but I believe in a miracle) to cover the radiotherapies that my body needs to stop the growth of tumors in this first stage. The beauty of this treatment is that its advancement could not only help my life but also the lives of many more children who suffer from this disease.
