Travis is my 11 yr old who began his very difficult journey, fighting for his life, when he was 8. He had excruciating headaches for a few weeks in Nov 2012 & Dr's didn't know why. One night in Dec 2012, he had major stroke & seizures due to extreme swelling in his brain & had to be Life Flighted to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, where they found the cause of the headaches. He was diagnosed with a very rare & aggressive brain cancer, (PNET - Primitive Neuro-Ectodermal Tumor) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primitive_neuroectodermal_tumor
Travis went through radiation & rounds of chemotherapy, with his last treatment in Aug 2013.
Since then, he's been doing ok but some of the after effects are brain damage, severe epilepsy & neuro cognitive disorder & he requires 24/7 care.
Recently, he began having headaches, pain in his spine, increased seizure activity & nausea/vomiting that landed him back at Doernbecher for additional scans & testing. The Dr's confirmed that his cancer is recurring & progressing & have advised against any additional treatments because the chances of changing his condition is extremely low & will only make him miserable.
We're not giving up & are looking at natural options now & even if we don't find a way to cure, we want him to enjoy himself for the time he has left.
Travis lost his father to Pancreatic Cancer in Nov 2014 & I'm on leave from work so I can spend as much time with him as possible.
We need assistance with continuous & additional expenses, including the overwhelming cost to continue insurance. My sweet boy has been through so much, I just want to see him smile & enjoy life right now!
If you're able to help in any way, we appreciate it very much!

He named her "Cinnamon" because after her bath, she smelled like cinnamon!
