Help Marissa Support Her Mother's Recovery

My name is Marissa, I am raising money for an emergency trip to Virginia from New Hampshire. My mother is schizophrenic and recently had an acute episode, leading to hospitalization. Due to her resisting treatment, they have decided to hold a hearing to determine if the state should obtain custody. Mental illness can be debilitating, and it’s terrible to watch someone you love suffer. My mother is a math whizz and she recently got her accountant license! The hospital will not give any information unless I’m in person and I would just hate to see one episode destroy something she’s been working towards for the last decade. I will be using the money to pay for travel expenses.
