Helping my family get out of Gaza

Hello everyone

My name is Yousef Halas from Gaza. I am the mediator for a family of eight currently living outside Gaza and I am writing to you with a heavy heart. My family in Gaza is facing difficult circumstances after being displaced several times and narrowly escaping death on several occasions. They lost their home, their business (supermarket) and everything they owned during the war that has lasted for more than 280 days and is still ongoing.

Living conditions in Gaza are deteriorating day by day, making it extremely difficult for them to survive.

I am writing to you today from outside Gaza. Words cannot describe my daily struggle to communicate with my family amidst the ongoing communication blackout in Gaza. When communication is cut off, I feel an immense helplessness and indescribable anxiety. I cannot know how my family is doing or reassure myself about their safety. This emptiness makes me a prisoner of constant anxiety and fear for them. Every moment without communication with them is filled with anxiety and stress. I constantly wonder about their conditions and the safety they long for. These difficult moments make life in exile even more difficult.

I am asking for your help in obtaining travel funds to ease my fears for my family. The cost of travel is very high, requiring more than $5,000 per person to leave Gaza and cover travel and accommodation expenses. Helping my family survive this suffering and save their lives is my top priority.

I am doing my best to help my family get out of this crisis and reach safety, but I cannot do it alone. So I am asking for your help. Your donations, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in their lives and give them a chance at a better life.
