I've started this site to help my sister in law prepare for the unimaginable thing that a 30 yr old mother of 1 could go through. As I stated Megan is 30 yrs old and has been fighting cancer for over a year now. Last week we were told that she will no longer be able to do treatment due to her body reacting badly to the chemo. She has been released to go home and spend her time left with her 6 year old daughter (Zylee) along with her brother, myself and our four children. Megan has been through this once before but she was on the other side. When she was 11 yrs old her mom passed away infront of her. We have been here to take care of her during that time as well as this time and plan to stay by her side as long as we are needed to; but the time has come to bring her home with the help of hospice to help keep her comfortable, throughout the rest of her time here with us. Megan has worked most of her adult life up until the cancer would not let her body. She never planned on something like this to happen. Due do this Megan did not have any insurance nor did she have any savings. My husband and I would love to just take care of all the unexpected expenses that will come in the future but sadly to say we cant. We are not ones to ask nor beg but at this time we need to lower our head and ask for help. Megan has requested to be cremated. She has never been a girly girl so finding a resting spot for her is going to be challenging but I promised Zylee it would be just the right thing for her mommy. I ask for your donations to help this move a little smoother for Zylee and the rest of the girls. Megan is leaving behind not just her own baby girl but our 4 girls as well. Thank you for all your love and support. We love each and everyone of you.
