Save Sharon's House

Donation protected
I write this story on Sharon's behalf not to  evoke sympathy but to highlight that through a series on unfortunate events, she is now at a point of asking for your help and compassion. We all have times when we need support from our vast network of friends and neighbors. For Sharon this is one of those times.

27 years ago Sharon's 4 year old daughter Barbara Jean was murdered by a neighbor while Sharon was at work. Barbara Jean was outside playing in her front yard while her step-father was inside working in the house. Barbara Jean was lured into the neighbor's house and was assaulted, beaten and eventually placed in a TV box where her body was discovered later that day.

After the death of her daughter, Sharon wanted to take a role to fulfill her love of children and to make a difference in kids lives.   For 15+ years, she provided child care for neighbors and friends children. This gave Sharon the opportunity to help others as she was generous in charging a very nominal fee. Her husband was working at the time so her contributions to the home were minimal; she was not working for the money, she was focused on caring for children and providing affordable care for her friends.

Unfortunately, Sharon and her husband divorced just a few years ago.  She could no longer afford to offer childcare, and so found a job outside of her home and has found roommates to assist with her mortgage payments. Sharon continues to work, but due to her divorce has recently fallen behind in mortgage payments. The mortgage company is now refusing to accept any payments unless  amount in rears is paid in full.

Sharon is a generous, positive, kind person who has found herself in a difficult situation due to several devastating events that have occurred in her life.  It would be terrible for Sharon to be evicted from her home, because she is doing all she can to keep it.   Sometimes life deals terrible blows to good people, please help Sharon avoid another injustice - once she is financially able to square things away with the mortgage company, she will be able to stand on her own and continue to stay in her home.
Thanks for your support.
