Kansai Gaidai University Study Abroad

Hello, everyone! I am an International Business major at the University of South Florida and I have been selected for the wonderful opportunity of studying abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata, Japan for the fall 2014 semester. This is something I have been dreaming about my whole life and has finally become a reality! I will continue to search for scholarships, but current prospects have proved unsuccessful. 

The following is the estimated costs from this program that my school has provided me with.

Program Cost: $2,144
Accommodations (Place to stay, breakfasts, and dinners provided by host family): $3,200
Books and Supplies: $500
Round-Trip Airfare: $2,000
Meals (lunch or while away from host home): $750
Local Transportation: $750
Discretionary Spending (Personal needs, entertainment, transportation): $2,000

Total cost: $11,344
