Support for Alexis’ Cancer Treatment

Just last week our sweet friend Alexis was diagnosed with oral cancer. She has a tumor on her tongue and will be having immediate surgery on 9/7 to remove the tumor and lymph nodes from her neck. Part of her tongue will be removed and reconstructed with tissue from her arm. It is expected that Alexis will be hospitalized for around a week and will have a feeding tube for several weeks following surgery. There are still so many unknowns, such as, the extent of the cancer or need for chemo or radiation.

This is extremely sudden and devastating news to Alexis, her family, her boyfriend, her friends, and her clients who love her dearly. She has had very little time to prepare for this procedure and hospitalization.

Alexis is a best friend to many. She’s a once in a lifetime type of friend, a friend you can call anytime, tell anything to, and a friend who will always want the best for you. She takes so much pride in being an amazing and incredibly talented stylist who always goes the extra mile to see her clients leave her chair filled with joy. She puts so much love into her work and it brings her so much happiness to help others.

Please help me in uplifting Alexis in this time of need and reducing the financial strain of her cancer treatment. She will not be able to work for weeks to months following her procedure and could really use support from her community. Any donations will go directly to covering medical expenses and monthly bills while she is recovering.
