In Memory of Lucas: Support His Family

Dearest friends and colleagues,

Most of you reading this did not ever have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Lucas Harrington. However, if this link has been privately shared with you, it is because somehow, either personally or professionally (Digineer & Children’s MN) you have undoubtably been fortunate enough to know and love his mother Jessica Thoma and/or at least one (if not both) of his wonderful Aunts: Jessica’s younger sisters Katie Ellingson (Lab & PICU) and Jamie Johnson (Lab & NICU).

And it is with a heavy heart that this page exists and is being shared due to the sudden and unexpected passing of their treasured Lucas on 12/11/24. A gentle and kindhearted soul who was unwaveringly loyal to those he loved, and could always be counted on to lend a compassionate ear or encouraging words to anyone who needed a friend.

During a time of immeasurable grief and loss for their entire family, this memorial fund has been created as a means for those of us who have been blessed to know and love his family, to also be the ones to gather around them and do our best to lessen the burdens that inevitably accompany such an incredible sorrow.
