Scott’s cancer fight
Donation protected
Last month we received the unfortunate news that Scott had a tumor pressing on his appendix which was causing the debilitating pain he had been experiencing the past year. After emergency surgery was performed to remove the tumor, part of his colon and intestines, we received the worst possible news that he has Stage 4 colon cancer and multiple other tumors within his intestines. Unfortunately the cancer has reached a stage that makes it incurable and the plan going forward at this point is to start a chemotherapy treatment program to extend life so that he can enjoy as much time as possible with his kids, grandkids and family.
With a 6-7 month recovery time from the surgery to remove the tumor, having a colostomy bag and going through biweekly chemotherapy, it will not be possible for Scott to continue to do what he loves which is waking up at 4am and working until sunset like he has for the past 40 years. That time will now be put towards his fight, spending time with his family and enjoying life.
Together we all can rally around Scott and help alleviate the financial burden that has already started to occur with the incoming medical bills and travel schedule. Donations will be held in a designated account managed by the family and allocated when necessary.
Help with the fight by donating any amount you can, sharing this fundraiser or when you see Scotty just simply give him a hug and tell him to keep fighting.
