TOUR DE AKY 2020
Donation protected
The Tour de Aky was created in memory of an amazing person Mick “Aky” Atkinson who sadly took his own life in October 2018 leaving a massive hole in many people hearts.
Aky was a police dog handler for North Yorkshire Police and had the collar number of 1066.
In his memory las year the Tour de Aky was created with over 70 riders cycling from Scarborough to Leeds covering 106.6miles.
This year we are raising money for the chosen charities of MIND, YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE & LEEDS RHINOS FOUNDATION.
also we are raising awareness into mental health carrying a slogan of ITS OK NOT TO BE OK.
On a personal note Aky was my best friend & I miss him everyday I want his name to live on and created the event to help people and encourage people to talk.
Thank You
