Hello my Name is Maria V. My niece Yamilet is a very close friend of Miguel and came up with the idea of this go fund me account to help out his parents. We have been in contact with them since the incident but Since they were extremely overwhelmed by the news they allowed us to take full control of this account but please rest assured that they are aware of this account and are overseeing the management of the funds. 

On the day of February 7, 2024 the life of our beloved Friend Miguel Romero (17) was tragically taken away from this life. We are still in shock and extremely devastated by these news but even though we can not come to understand how such a beautiful soul was taken away from our lives so soon, we are writing today to ask for your support to help his parents and family cover as much as possible for the funeral costs. We would love to give him the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
