Mom’s Cancer Surgery

Donation protected
My parents are too modest to ask for help, so I’ll do it for them.

A month ago, my mother was admitted to the hospital because she couldn’t keep any food or water down. The doctors performed an endoscopy and the issue ended up being a really bad ulcer. Further investigation found cancer along the ulcer. She’s been diagnosed with Gastric Cancer.

On June 8, she will be having surgery to remove the ulcer and the cancer cells. Chemo may happen as well if they’re unable to remove all of the cells.

It’s a major surgery, and although my mother is the strongest person I know, she’s scared. Mostly for her health, but also because of how much money this is all going to cost.

She’s going to be out of work for 2 months, and although PFML will compensate her some, she’ll still be losing a lot of money. My parents will still struggle, and that doesn’t even count the medical bills.

As I said, my parents are way too modest and proud to ask for help, but they need it. Which is why I’m asking any and everyone to donate what they can. Anything helps and my family will greatly appreciate it.
