10TH FEBRUARY 'CHANGE YOUR TUNE STARMER' TRACTOR RALLY
Donation protected
SAVE BRITISH FARMING are preparing another tractor rally in Whitehall, following the success of the demonstrations on the 19th November and our 11th December tractor rally last year organised with Fairness for Farmers of Kent. On 10th February we will be returning to London, asking Starmer to 'change his tune' as MPs debate the 145,000-strong petition to overturn the Family Farm Tax.
But we need your help! Donations will be used to make this protest count through:
- Providing a large mobile screen and sound system to display showreels and broadcast the debate.
- Stream the protest and speeches
- Enabling us to provide placards to be held and banners to be strung across tractor cabs for aerial press shots
- Allowing us to print faces for bale effigies of ministers, and banners to dress the trailer we shall use as a stage.
Details of the protest on EventBrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/change-your-tune-starmer-tractor-rally-tickets-1132493461429?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
Farmers from across the country are invited to come together and ensure we are heard and seen in Westminster to ensure parliament sees and hears us as they debate this important petition.
The central focus of this rally will be large Starmer and Reeves effigies on a bale trailer. There will be music, speeches and then live broadcast of the debate as it happens in Parliament to everyone on Whitehall.
As always we are working with the Metropolitan Police who continue to work hard to ensure we can exercise our rights to campaign on this issue. Low loaders can be parked on Millbank and Tractors can access Whitehall via Trafalgar Square side to ensure they're all facing towards Parliament Square.
