Moore to world

Sergeant Jim Moore of Heber City Police, married 33 years with 4 children and 10 grand children is such a man! After a disappointing layoff from Geneva Steel in 1997, Jim Moore put himself through the Police Academy and was hired by Heber City Police. During this time he has quietly pursued his dream of world-class weight lifting competition. Although he has qualified before to compete on the world stage, the financial considerations of raising a family had to come first. Jim has never asked for help from anyone to fulfill his dream. In fact, most people, who know him well, do not know what an amazing athlete he is.
A few of us, who work with Jim in Wasatch County’s emergency services, have formed a committee to help make his dream come true. We hope you will join with us to support this amazing man in his quest as he represents the USA in the 2014 World Masters Weightlifting Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.
