Tuition

Hi,

My name is Marilyn and I am currently a college student. I am reaching out because I am frankly out of ideas to pay for my tuition. Back in early spring, I was under the impression that I would be receiving financial aid for summer semester so I signed up for courses. I panicked a little when the first week of classes started and my financial aid didn't come through but the financial office told me to wait. Now it is the 3rd week of classes and even if I drop the courses I still have to pay for them. I am currently taking a few prerequisite courses so that I can apply for PA school. I have had a few setbacks throughout my adult life that prevent me from being able to do this by myself. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do in life and I finally know that I want to be a PA so that I can help people with medical needs. The easy solution would be to work more. Although I am employed part time, it is very difficult for me to work additional hours for several reasons. The most challenging is that I have moderately severe SLE Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis, 2 autoimmune diseases. It is more than challenging to work more hours because it will aggravate my condition which can lead to serious health issues. I also take care of my mom who is a cancer survivor and is no longer able to do many activities herself. Between school, work, family and health, I can't seem to find the time to make extra income. It's so hard for me to ask for help but I need help. I know that this is not an easy time for a lot of people and there are even more serious matters going on in the world, but if you are able and willing to help me out, I would be so very thankful.
