BRENDA'S STAGE 4 CANCER BATTLE

Brenda Staab was visiting her daughter Kelly in California in September 2022 when she became ill and was hospitalized.

Testing returned a heartbreaking diagnosis: Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, which had spread from the breast to her bones, liver and pancreas.

Brenda’s treatment regimen is intense and requires chemotherapy treatments and weekly hospital visits for 1 year to try to slow the spread and eradicate the cancer.

If you’ve known Brenda for even a short time, you know that she loves the mountains. Big mountains make her heart sing. Some of her most treasured hours were spent in the presence of or hiking on the shoulders of Mount Rainer, the mountain that stole her heart many years ago.

This will now be the most difficult climb of her beautiful life.

Brenda is a mother to Kelly, daughter to Betty, sister to Barry, and loving

partner to Neil and she has always been the caregiver of the family and the best dog mom ever!

Even in her chosen career in Hospitality, every day she made sure others were warmly welcomed and cared for first. That’s just Brenda’s nature. She’s an empath who always puts the needs of others before her own.

This time Brenda needs help. With the aggressive chemotherapy schedule, she is unable to work and Neil is providing the daily care she needs at home as well as trips to countless doctors and hospital visits.

We are asking for help with medical bills and living expenses so our family can focus on Brenda’s health, treatment, well-being and recovery.
