"Cancer is going to have to learn to live with me." These are the words spoken from Elaine recently. Our dear friend is indeed a warrior and she is going to continue fighting...but she may need a bit of help to do it.
Elaine and James have been doing all sorts of research into the next steps on their challenging journey and we don't want available funds to be a factor in their decision making.
For those that don't know Elaine... Elaine is an emergency room nurse in Canmore, Alberta. She is an avid runner and loves to recreate in the mountains she calls home. She lives with her husband (a Calgary Firefighter) and two young children (ages 7 and 5). Her extended family is across the 'pond', in the UK.
Elaine is battling Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer, which was diagnosed in January, 2014.
