Mike Shaw's Stem Cell Transplant

Mike, Paula, and Courtney are asking for our support as Mike works daily to overcome Double-hit diffuse large B cell Lymphoma. A rare and aggressive cancer caused by changes in DNA.

Mike’s best chance for remission and continuing his beautiful life with his wife and daughter is a stem cell transplant.

In October of 2022, Mike noticed a lump growing on his leg. As his symptoms progressed to debilitating leg pain, he chose to seek help. A visit to the doctor in November brought a difficult reality as Mike’s battle with cancer began. With the support of his family, he began chemo treatment immediately. For the past 5 months, Mike has faced 5 straight days of chemo every 3 weeks, leaving him tired but hopeful for a chance at remission.
