Doug Gibson

Our beloved friend, Sonie Gibson, has lost her best friend, her Superman, her soulmate, her husband of 40 years today, on Christmas Eve. Doug Gibson has not only been an icon in the local music scene, but also a dear friend to many. He has battled a multitude of health issues over the past 25 years, always with the most grace and positivity. Always with his sweet wife Sonie by his side. Unfortunately, as a small business owner, Sonie does not have the benefit of PTO or bereavement pay. Sonie will need time to grieve and process this great loss. As friends, teachers, and former students of Sonie’s, we are asking for any financial support you can spare. If you are unable to help financially then simply sharing this link would be appreciated.
