Pippins Recovery Fund
In June, our sweet boy Pippin, got an upper respiratory infection which was treated and eventually went away. Shortly after, he stopped eating as frequently, and if you know Pip, you know he loves to eat. Eventually he stopped eating all together. After 1 scheduled vet visit, 2 emergency vet visits, a week of syringe feeding and a consultation with a specialist we finally found that Pip was in need of surgery.
On Wednesday, July 19th, Pip had a CT scan and went into surgery to remove his left ear canal. There are some side effects of the surgery and we have a long road ahead of us, but he is doing well. We are still waiting for lab results to come back to find if the cause was just a bad infection or potentially cancer. These will take about a week or two to process.
