Save a Family's Home from Foreclosure

I’m reaching out to ask for your help in saving my friend from losing his home to foreclosure. He and his wife just welcomed a newborn baby girl, and they also have two young children. They’re a beautiful, loving family, and it breaks my heart to see them at risk of losing everything after just a couple of difficult months.

He’s fallen behind on his mortgage, and as a result, his interest rate has jumped to an overwhelming 18%. His payment has increased from $1,616.22 to $3,097.13. To make matters worse, the HOA is suing him for late payments and is already in the process of trying to take the home. It’s an incredibly tough and urgent situation.

I’m trying to raise $20,000 to cover the past-due mortgage, around $7,000 in HOA dues and attorney fees. I’m personally guiding him to negotiate with the mortgage company to arrange a possible forbearance, and also working with the HOA’s attorneys to reduce some of their added fees. Unfortunately, he already has a foreclosure date, which is why I need your urgent help raising this money for them.

This is a God-fearing, hardworking family that truly doesn’t deserve to go through something like this. Out of respect for their privacy, I’m keeping his name anonymous. You may even know them if you’ve known me for a while. Please consider helping in any way you can.
