9yr old Damien vs. cancer

Before we get into the reason we are making this fund, let’s talk about this little superhero named Damien Bosher. Damien is 9 years old, and some would describe him as shy and quiet but always happy and smiling. He is your all-American little league baseball player, and when he is not on the field, he enjoys playing with his Pokémon cards and yo-yo’s, but he holds a “reel” passion for fishing.

On April 12th, 2023, Damien went into the ER after a persistent cough that he had been battling for over a month. Though he had been seen by a physician on multiple occasions, his cough was not subsiding. The ER doctor believed there was severity in Damien’s cough and ordered additional tests. Unfortunately, these tests uncovered every mother’s worst fear, a mass in his chest. Damien was given a biopsy on April 13th and was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Doctors immediately began treating Damien who received his first dose of chemotherapy on Monday April 17th. Damien and his family have a long road ahead of them with an expected 3-4 years of treatment therapy.

In 2017, Damien’s father tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident, leaving behind Damien and his mother, Denim. With that being said Damien and his mother will need all of the additional financial support that they can get! This fund is to help cover the costs of his medical bills that are not covered by insurance and also alleviate the financial burden on his mother, Denim. Anything that surpasses the financial goal will go towards the following years of medical expenses.
