New MacBook Stolen

Hi everyone, I'm starting this gofundme because my best friend Jacky was robbed at Starbucks in National City, CA, 91950 on May 15, 2019. If you're familiar with the area you know that this is a very popular spot to chill, hang out or even just study. She was studying inside Starbucks when all of a sudden two men came up to her, unplugged her laptop from the outlet and took it. She was shouting from the top of her lungs for someone to help her but no one would come to her aid so she fought instead, she got one of the suspects on the ground but soon after he handed the laptop over to his friend and ran out the door. She realized what was happening and began to chase after them into their getaway car a Forest Green Toyota Sienna, she approached the van and tried to get her laptop back and held on to the passenger door of the van. When the robbers realized she wasn't giving up they decided to floor it and speed out of the parking lot and Jacky was getting dragged along. She ended up with bruises and scrapes on her elbows and her knees, thankfully she didn't end up being kidnapped, shot, or even worse dead. She felt defeated, not a single bystander stepped in to try and stop awful crime, thankfully Starbucks was at least able to call the police right away and one witness got a quick photo of the van. All her hard work from school is gone and now she has to start from scratch. Jacky is one in a billion, she always looks out for others and always tries her best to be kind to everyone she meets. It's truly heartbreaking to see one of your friends go through something like this and I just want to help out even if its just a little. Thank you for listening, God Bless.
