Help with funeral arrangements for JB

On May 1st, 2024, my beloved son, Jovon Nelson's body was found in the Calumet River. I have been searching daily for over 23 days for him. It is unbearable to make sense of my new reality. My son was only 24 years old! I want to find out what happened to my baby! I NEED TO KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!!!

I BELIEVE THERE WAS FOUL PLAY!! I am in direct talk with the police and detectives on the case. I believe someone’s selfish act ripped Jovon away from me, my family, and this world! There are no words that can express how devastated we are. Our hearts are hurting, and the pain of not knowing what happened is unbearable. His death leaves many unanswered questions and creates a void that can never be fixed or filled. Jovon was so loving and compassionate. He was so full of life, and always tried to have all those around him laughing. His life has been cut short, and we have no idea by whom or what!!

Please keep my entire family in your prayers through this tragic time. As we are so heartbroken over this sudden news, we will fight to find JUSTICE FOR JOVON! We humbly ask our community to unite and support us right now. We need financial assistance to cover funeral arrangements, attorney fees, litigation, counseling, and bills as we seek justice for JB. No amount is too small!

All funeral arrangements will be shared at a later time. While we are still processing, we can only find comfort that JB is resting in the arms of the Lord.
