Unifying Perspectives on the Revolution in Iran
Donation protected
As the 2022 Iranian Revolution has deepened and those within Iran have clearly addressed themselves to the world community as Woman, Life, Freedom; it is time to gain a deeper understanding of this fragile ecosystem to explore the diverse perspectives of what this leaderless, feminist, and youth-lead revolution looks like.
The Woman Life Freedom Vancouver Coalition is co-hosting this panel discussion along with the University of British Columbia (in support from Community Engagement Office), Simon Fraser University (in partnership with CCMS), and the MENA Film Festival. We are presenting guest speakers who have emerged as the voices of the Iranian resistance movement in the diaspora and are leading international calls to support the 2022 Iranian Freedom Movement.
The event will take place in Vancouver at SFU GoldCorp Centre for Arts on Tuesday December 13th, from 6pm to 8pm.
We invite you to take part with your generosity and support in the first panel of its kind as a global community to build a road to a revolution inside Iran. Your donations will help us cover travel costs for our guest speakers and the day of the event costs, including refreshments. Any additional funds raised will be donated directly to reliable sources sending medical supplies to Kurdistan to treat those who have been injured in the recent protests.
