"A Different Perception" Campaign

Hi I'm Josh. I am a young actor/director from New Orleans, LA. The film we are trying to raise money for is considered a breathtaking visual/poem glorifying the black skin and black culture. 

The reason I wanted to make this film was because I wanted for any viewer of any ethnic group to fully understand the African American culture and setting of where we come from. I think trauma is taking a toll on blacks from a viewing stand point and I wish for this film to put smiles on people’s faces instead of frowns. Once the viewer watches this gorgeous film, he/she should have “a different perception” on how we live (hints the title). I’m pretty sure my community is tired of watching us being hurt or die in a film. Why not give them a reason to smile and enjoy what they’re watching?

This campaign is going to help us breakthrough and fulfill the need to get this project done. This story is so important and it's a story we need right now.

One of the reasons why the goal for this project is so small is because I am also putting up a big portion of my own money to get this done. This is my dream. To create.
