Daniel Drennen's Funeral

Daniel James Drennen, 41, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on May 30, 2023. He was the son of Sharee and the late Kerry Drennen. He was a 2000 graduate of Wirt County High School and worked at Drennen Accounting Services. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter Alexis Drennen. His hobbies were darts and gaming and was a founder of AO E-Sports organisation.
He is survived by his mother Sharee Drennen; his grandmother Arthelia Richard who just turned 103; siblings David Drennen, Amy Jones and her husband Nathan, and Stephen Drennen; nephews and nieces Noah Jones, Elijah Jones, Lillyanna Jones, Seth Drennen, Sophia Drennen, Brooklynn Roush, Logan Drennen and Landon Drennen.
A private graveside memorial will be held on the 24th of June at Two Ripple Cemetery, Elizabeth, WV. Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honoured to assist the Drennen family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses at Matheny Whited Funeral Home, PO Box 639, Elizabeth, WV 26143.
Thrain made a huge impact on the gaming community with the mobile game, Clash of Clans, The AO Family and extended Clash family are mourning the loss of our friend, brother and chief, Thrain made an impression on everyone he met and had a heart of gold, our Clash family is deeply saddened to lose such an amazing person, who greatly shaped the foundations of our organisation.
We are looking to raise funds to help Thrain's family give him the send-off he deserves, and the final farewell Thrain deserves.
