Bonefish Town Abaco Hurricane Relief

Hurricane Dorian was packing sustained winds of 185mph  when it made landfall at Abaco in The Bahamas on September 1st 2019. The main towns were flooded by storm surges, meters above normal sea levels. The powerful winds and water ripped houses apart, tore boats from moorings and dragged vehicles and debris across the islands.

Thousands of houses were destroyed, telecommunications torn down and roads and wells damaged. This  caused a widespread power outages across both islands. Thousands of families have become displaced with the loss of their home and all belongings following the vicious storm. 

Below is an image and video of my daughter recording inside of our home, during the storm in Abaco. As you can see the roof came off whiles inside and now that house is destroyed. This is an example of what took place to many of my family, friends and businesses like mines. 



Bonefish Town is a bone fishing company located in Marsh Harbour. Iv'e been a bonefish guide in Marsh Harbour,  Abaco for 30 years. 

All funds received from this GoFundMe campaign will be used to rebuild and provide assistance specifically to the people of Abaco and my community in the form of food, shelter, medical aid and supplies, and assistance in the island’s clean-up and rebuilding efforts. Ahmad Williams role in this campaign will be withdrawing the funds, then transfer over to me. I am not able to due to the hurricane. He will not be paid or receive commission for this transaction.
