The Abraham Eyassu Joshua Legacy Scholarship

Mr. Joshua was a beloved science teacher at Mission Preparatory School in the Mission San Francisco. He was tragically killed on his way to work on March 2nd, 2022. His father, Dr. Essayu, came to the school on Friday and was able to see his son's legacy and how much he was loved. We asked what we could do to support and he said that any contributions to a scholarship fund they have just set up in his honor would be greatly appreciated. His colleagues and students want to support the family by creating and sharing this Scholarship Fundraiser.

Mr. Joshua was a light in the Mission Prep community, bringing light into every space he entered. His passion for science was contagious, and his joy and connection to his work were palpable. Please help us honor his memory with a scholarship in his honor.
