Hello, my name is Adesha Basil. I am recently a high school graduate from Somerset Academy high school and I'm planning to start college late June 2017 at my local college. After my Associates of Arts degree, I want to go to nursing school to get my B.S.N. at either FIU or UCF. I am hoping to raise $5,000 which will be used to help cover the nursing school cost. This career means so much to me because the emotional and physical fulfillment of
knowing that I've helped a patient feel better is truly rewarding.
I am in need of financial help. Nearly 3 years ago, my family lost our home and been living in apartments ever since. Over the few years in apartments I have shared rooms with my parents and beds with my little brother. Right now I'm blessed to recently have my own room, even though some of my brothers stuff is in there, all my things are in one place. My older brother and little brother sleep in the living room while my parents sleep in the other room. My dad works two jobs at restaurants so he's barely at home and my mom and older brother is unemployed. With my brother's accident that happened in February, more than $7,000 just went out the door.
$5,000 donated or even close to it will make this career more possible for me to complete. Any amount is appreciated as money does not come easy now-a-days. All donations will be tucked away into my savings account and touched when tuition is due which is in 2018! Thank you so much to all who decides to donate! God bless you.
