Aira General Hospital Support

Aira hospital is designated as one of the isolation centers for suspected and confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic for Gulisso, Chalia Eka, Yubdo, Lalo Kile and Aira Districts. The primary focus is to raise awareness on COVID -19 and educate them  on how to protect themselves and minimize the spread of the disease; and to provide personal protective equipment for those front-line health workers; and also to provide basic hand sanitizers for the local communities.

In order to respond to this pandemic and combat this common enemy in a coordinated fashion, those living in the above mentioned communities came together in April 2020 and established ''BIRBIR-DIILLAA COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP”.  The main role of this task forces is to solicit material and financial support from individuals, church partners and humanitarian organizations.

Accordingly, Birbir-Diillaa Community Support Group (BDCSG) would like to extend its sincere call to all interested individuals, groups and institutions to stand with Aira hospital and its clinics during this critical time to respond to this pandemic among the highly impoverished and vulnerable populations. The task force cannot emphasize enough the urgency of this support given the speed at which this virus is spreading. So, your immediate response is highly appreciated.
