Alex Escobar Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On the night of August 4th, just 3 days after his 23rd birthday, Alex Escobar was struck by a pickup truck while heading home from a family cookout on his motorcycle. The accident left Alex pinned between the truck and guard rail, necessitating a partial leg amputation at the scene and a later Flight For Life transport to Froedtert Hospital .
At the time of writing, Alex has just regained consciousness and is trying to take in everything that has happened. The physical and mental trauma of this experience is something no one can plan for and the path ahead for Alex will be a difficult time of recovery, rehabilitation and financial burdens.
Alex has touched the lives of many people around him and had a positive impact in so many ways; as a loving son, a great friend and a skilled employee, all who know or have met Alex hold him in high regard. Taking his passion of vehicles to heart, he has been working hard to develop a career in the automotive industry working as an apprentice technician with Porsche. We want to make sure that Alex has the best possible chance to pursue that dream and achieve the goals he's worked so hard towards, but he is going to need access to quality rehabilitation centers and prostheses for that to happen.
Please consider taking this opportunity to help ensure that Alex is able to receive the treatment he deserves and needs to return to the life he has worked to achieve. No donation is too small and any contribution will help on the long road to recovery.
Stay strong Alex, we're all in this with you.
