Allegro's Meagan Reed Injured in Car Accident

A car accident in the morning of Monday, November 26th left Meagan Reed trapped in her vehicle, seriously injured, while her 7 year old daughter screamed from the backseat. Meagan's injuries prevented her from turning around to see her daughter let alone console her.
Meagan, who works nearby for Allegro Winery, was on her way to her sister's house to drop off her daughter who had the day off of school before heading to work. A vehicle traveling in the opposite direct on New Bridgeville Road in Felton paused and then suddenly turned directly in front of Meagan into St. Luke's Church.
Meagan was trapped in her car, unable to move. Her daughter was scared and crying. Both were taken to York Hospital. Meagan's daughter suffered 2 broken ribs and a bruised lung. The driver and 2 children in the other vehicle were unscathed. Meagan's injuries were extensive.
Meagan's right ankle was broken and required surgery to repair it. Her right clavicle is broken, her sternum fractured, and several vertabrae in her spine are compressed requiring her to wear a custom-made back brace. She is thankful that she and her daughter will recover but she's in pain and is worried. Meagan is a single mother.
You see Meagan's recovery will be 6 weeks to several months for Meagan. She will be off work for an extended period of time and her car was totaled. The holiday season is upon us, too.
