Save Newborn Lives from Sepsis
Donation protected
Our team, comprising experienced professors and young medical researchers from Germany and Rwanda, has been dedicated to a project called "Amplifying Hope" for the past 6 months. "Amplifying Hope" aims to develop a medical tool for the rapid and accurate diagnosis of EOS (Early-onset neonatal sepsis) in newborns.
Neonatal sepsis affects approximately 3.9% of newborns worldwide, with a mortality rate of 17.6%. Timely diagnosis of EOS can significantly improve treatment outcomes, but current diagnostic methods require several days, which is often too late.
After 6 months of successful collaboration as an international team of seven researchers, we now urgently need funding to continue our work.
Please donate to our project to help achieve our ultimate goal of saving potentially millions of newborn lives.
