Amy's bills

Donation protected
My name is Jess. I am posting this for my employee and dear friend Amy. She is in need of our help and support.
On November 14th she went into the hospital for what was supposed to be a simple surgery, home the next day, scenario. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. She woke up being unable to walk/move without heavy assistance. From this surgery she has had major complications with the biggest being her lack of mobility.
Today, December 10th, marks her 26th day in the hospital. She is getting amazing care on the Acute Inpatient Rehab unit at SRHC. Ironically, this is also the floor she works on so she is surrounded by healing, friends, and love while she receives the therapy she needs to hopefully be able to walk without aide, in the future.
Her prognosis for any independent walking is guarded at best. She is able to walk short distances with a walker and one person assist. She is able to roll around in her wheelchair independently. Unfortunately, the damage to her spine has caused paralysis in her right leg. The damage is more than likely permanent. She is unable to drive. If you all know her, you know this is a big thing to her; not being able to drive. As most of you know, it has been a difficult year for her. Both her husband and sister passed away. Now she has lost her mobility. Her loss is greater than any of us know. She is one of the most compassionate and caring people I know, both as a nurse and a friend.
Amy is taking this all in stride although some days are filled with tears, she doesn’t give up.
I am asking you all to help her. She hasn’t had income now for some time and is in need of our help. Anything at all that you can give her to help ease this burden, would be appreciated. Amy always helps others, and always does it with a smile on her face. Please donate to this cause to help get our friend/family, back on her feet.
Thank you all in advance for your caring and help. With everything that has happened to her this year bills are the last thing she should have to worry about. Every little bit counts.
God bless and thank you.
