Justice for Andrew Frazier
Donation protected
Andrew is a 23 year old young man who was a victim of a hit and run accident. This happened on Joyce Road near Nottingham court in Scott Depot on May 25th around 2 am while walking to Speedway. The person who hit him left the scene and ultimately left him to die. Andrew survived but he obtained substantial injuries from the hit and run including a fractured skull, cracked ribs, ankle injury, multiple lacerations all over, broken nose, broken shoulder, and broken neck specifically C5 and C6 which has currently left him paralyzed with no feeling from his chest down. He can move his arms and a couple fingers but that's all. After a 2 week stay in the STICU and ICU step down unit he was sent to a rehabilitation center for what we thought would be a short stay till he was able to be transferred to we had hoped Shepard in Georgia. Unfortunately he developed a bedsore and ended up needing to be transferred to a wound care center in Morgantown. His physical therapy has been put on hold till the bed sore heals. In the meantime his family will need to get things prepared for when he comes home. The family will need to get a van, a ramp, a bed, possibly a wheelchair and make the bathroom handicapped accessible. His grandmother was able to get the State of WV to agree to paying for the extensive physical therapy he needs. So now our objective is to offset some of the cost of preparing the families home and inevitably travel cost. As you can imagine traveling back and forth to Morgantown weekly to insure he is being taken care of properly is not cheap. Anything you can spare to help is so much appreciated. Thank you and please keep Andrew in your prayers.
