Help me fight cancer & get back to saving democracy.

Hello friends - I'm back for round three on GoFundMe.

For those of you who don't know me, I was diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer that turned out to be metastatic on the very last day of 2020. After several surgeries and rotations through treatments, I am now on a miracle drug called Enhertu that has kept me stable for nearly a year and a half. I've been working through most of this time: projects for political groups and non-profits like Mayo Clinic and the Barnes Foundation, but I've had to take a few breaks.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of March, a faceplant in the hallway at Cedars-Sinai knocked me off track for working for a while. I ended up with a broken femur, crutches, and a sexy, sexy leg brace that scares both small children and cats. The good news is that I'm healing, and as the political season has kicked into full swing, I anticipate I'll be on staff in a political organization somewhere next month. Because the best thing for taking one's mind off of metastatic cancer is working hard to save democracy. But I need a little support while I get there.
