Dog Rescue Needs Your Help

I am Celestine Khuong, founder of the dog rescue Angels Four Paws, an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded Houston Metro Area shelters. We place dogs into temporary fosters homes or boarding where they are socialized, spay/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions which would otherwise limit their adoptability. Since I started the rescue in March 2013, we have found forever homes for 179 dogs, taking in dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and breeds. I have been rescuing dogs long before founding the organization, and I live entirely for them. I have not taken a vacation in 14 years and have spent all of my savings on rescuing dogs.
We currently have 59 dogs between boarding facilities, fosters, and our personal homes, but we are running out of money. Between boarding fees, vet bills, medicine, and food, we will not be able to continue operating without additional donations. Dogs are continually being left with us, and the only option we can live with is to take them in. The rottweiler pictured below was thrown out of a car at my office today (July 31), left with injuries and infections.
We have been caring for Diamond for the last year and a half while nursing her back to health from a terrible skin condition. We've also been caring for Tripod after no one else would take him in due to a skin condition.
We took in Bella the German Shepherd last month after we found her with infected paws, heartworm, and nearly hit by many cars - today she’s happily in her forever home.
Bringing these dogs to a shelter where they would be put down is not something we are willing to do. The large number of cases like this in recent months has left us with an extreme cash flow shortage, and we need your help to continue paying our bills while we are in the process of accomplishing our long-term plan of building our own boarding facility.
We seek to raise $15,000 to allow us to operate for approximately two to three more months, in which time we will continuing working towards a sustainable long-term solution to help the huge number of dogs in Houston who need our help. Any amount you can give will be a huge help to us and will 100% directly benefit the dogs through funding food, boarding, vet, and medical bills. We are completely volunteer based and all funds are used towards giving these dogs the happy lives they deserve. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and our campaign is listed as a Certified Charity, so you will receive a receipt for your donation for tax purposes.
