Anita Meekins Home Care/Oxygen.

My name is Vicky Golding. My sisters Lainy Gold, Debbie Golding and my brother Donald Golding were devastated when our beautiful mother Anita was diagnosed (on her 78th birthday, October 20th, 2016) with Lung Cancer and she will now need at home care and equipment to supply her with oxygen as well as medication and treatment. We need to raise as much money as we can to help pay for her care. My mother and step father are seniors and currently living off of their pensions. My step father will be returning to work to help to support them. My mother has always been the most hard working woman I have ever met. She has worked right up until last week when she was unable to continue due to the fact that she was having trouble breathing. We, her family are heartbroken and will be doing our best to take care of her as she has done so lovingly for us our entire lives. We are scattered all over canada and in the US and will be making sure one of us can always be with her but we are also worried about funds for travel to come and be with her. She is a beautiful, vibrant, sweet, kind hearted woman who has had a very hard life to say the least and has made sacrifices for us and gone without so we would have what she never had. She would always share stories of how she helped someone who was hungry at work or didn't have much and has instilled this value in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would put extra things in my school lunch to share with friends who didn't have much. We need help to make sure the rest of her life is lived with dignity and comfort. It is her turn to be taken care of. Please help us to do this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The help we recieve will mean more to us than anyone can ever imagine. Bless you all.
