Support Ashley MacKinnon: Expenses After Dylan's Passing
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dylan MacKinnon at the very young age of 28 years old. Surrounded by love, Dylan took his last breath, hand-in-hand with his wife, Ashley, on Sunday, August 4th at 8:30 AM.
Dylan leaves behind his widow, Ashley MacKinnon, with significant funeral expenses and financial commitments, including a mortgage on their home in Paris, ON. To relieve Ashley from financial strain, we are seeking the generosity of those who are capable of contributing.
Dylan was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, taken from us far too soon after a courageous nine-month battle with stage IV cancer. Born on November 6th, 1995, Dylan grew up in a loving family with his parents, Anne and Jim, and his brother Jack. Dylan dedicated his life to serving others, culminating in a career as a constable with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and later securing a position with the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Dylan embodied hard work, determination, grit, discipline, and passion.
Dylan was a leader in his community in every sense. On June 9th, 2024, Dylan ran 6km at Miles for MacKinnon, a charity event hosted in his honour. The event raised over $25,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
As we navigate this immense loss, we seek to support Ashley during this incredibly challenging time. The emotional pain of losing a loved one is compounded by the financial burdens that follow. Your generous support will help ease the financial strain and allow Ashley to focus on grieving, healing, and remembering Dylan's remarkable life. Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and will make a significant difference to Ashley.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
