Intl. High School Band MusicTour

Hello Fellow Musicians ! (and all of their friends ),

          My name is Ashlyn Estrada and I am currently a Junior in High School. I have been in band playing the flute, and now also the piccolo, since I was in middle school. I play in both marching and concert band. This year I was nominated by my band instructor to be a part of the Kentucky Ambassadors of Music program through the University of Louisville. It is a great honor and I feel so blessed to have been nominated to join this program that has had an amazing 44 year history and programs in over 37 states. My fellow nominees of concert band, honor band, sting orchestra and chorus students that comprise this year's Kentucky Ambassadors of Music group will be joining with Voyageurs Intl for a 7 country European tour during the summer of 2016. There, we will be performing and representing our state and country with pride through the universal language of music. I am currently working as well as maintaining my band and class obligations, however I need help with the finances of this trip. The trip, not counting food and misc expenses, costs $6000. I have already been able to come up with some of that money, but I do need some help covering the rest. Any help would be very much appreciated. I am looking forward to growing with this experience and hope to one day be able to pay it forward. This is an amazing opportunity that I am so grateful for. Thank you for your time and help.
