Help for Terry, Lucas, and Jacob

My Aunt Terry is one of the sweetest and most giving people I know. She always offers help, but never asks for it. She has been hospitalized due to cellulitis, underwent surgery yesterday, and is awaiting a transfer to a hospital that can provide better care. It is expected that she will need months of care and rehab.

She has twin sons, who are both in wheelchairs. Lucas, who has his own apartment, but who has someone to assist him with daily care, has a handicap van, but yesterday it started overheating and must now be repaired. This is his only way to get to the hospital to visit his mom.

Jacob, Terry's other son, now lives in assisted living. I am sure this is hard on him, as Terry usually visits both of her sons almost daily.

I would like to raise money for them to cover the cost of repairs to Lucas's van. All other money will go towards Terry's medical bills.

This is a family who has faced many hardships throughout life, but has never once been bitter about life's circumstances, nor have they ever asked for help. I would like to ask on their behalf.
