Ava's Angels is a fund to aid in the medical bills, travel expenses, and purchacing of clothing, toys necessities, sensory toys, therapy equiptment, supplements and more for Ava!
Ava was born on October 3, 2014. We dont know why, but on October 23, 2014 at 5am, she went into sudden cardiac arrest. She has since been put on life support, then when taken off had a mucous plug that caused her to clamp her vocal chords, coughed and popped her lungs, leading to being on it once again. After healing a little bit, she was successfully taken off life support but she was not strong enough to hold open her airway, and with her lower jaw being so small her tongue got in the way of breathing when she was placed on her back. She had a trach put in place, then a G-tube for feeding. Ava is growing stronger every single day. She now uses a binky, looks at people, cries, moves around, and many other things they never expected her to do. When we first came in they expected her to never wake up again- and here she is, fighting tooth and nail every day, proving everyone wrong and moving closer and closer to going home.
This fund is to provide things to help her develop- having a brain injury they are very important,( and because of her level of care, neither mom or dad can work, she must have 2 caregivers at all times certafied to care for her, and that makes things financially complicated) as well as clothing, travel expences going back and forth from the hospital and medical expenses.
Any donation is greatly appreciated, monetary, prayers, good thoughts, cards, gifts etc. If you would like to send something for Ava, please mail to
