Axel’s Celebration of Life

Donation protected
On October 5, 2023 our sweet Axel fought the last day of his battle. He fought with every ounce of strength that he had for so long, but
ultimately his little heart was done. He was relentless with this battle but we are thankful that our Axel was able to leave this earth painlessly with Felicia and I by his side. While this was not what we had planned or hoped for him, ultimately the plan for him was greater than his 982 days spent by our side.

Axel’s strength during this fight was like none other. His strength was more then soldiers in war and deeper then most people could ever dream of. His resilience was uncanning and something we will never forget. As parents are so proud of you Axel, you handled this fight like a champ, but we are at peace knowing there is no more pain, no
more tears, no more meds or shots, lines or tubes, or poison being pushed through your veins anymore. Your laughs, tickles, giant smile
and angelic eyes gave us strength when we felt lost in this journey.

Axel Crew Acosta you were born to change the world and you did. You changed it with your radiating spirit, never ending joy, and
bottomless hope. You Axel, paved the path for so many other children facing this, to be able to fight this same battle. You now get to stand by these children's and families side, using your warm soft
little hands to guide, support and comfort them. Those same hands that we used to hold, kiss and love. We know your touch will be pivotal to
these families through their journeys, just as it was pivotal in giving us the strength we didn't know we had.

Axel you have amazed us with your life, impacting and touching so many souls. So many of these
people you have never met, but they have seen you Axel. Truly seen you, for who you are and what you have and will do for this world and we are honored to call you our son. As much as we would have loved to be selfish and kept you by our side forever. It brings us comfort knowing your greater purpose will be the foundation of support for
those who will walk in similar shoes as you. We will work tirelessly by your side to support your purpose in life and shine your light as
bright as it deserves.

While part of Axel’s life was his cancer and his fight. Cancer did not ever define him and never will by any means. Axel crew you are the
most loving, sweetest, silliest, and handsome boy with the tiniest softest voice (at times). You also showed us you can bring WWE home- featuring Bash Bro’s Wrestling front and center in our living room at 5 am making it sound like we had elephants in our house while trying
to pin Haydn. Your tiny, cute voice can become this ear shattering scream that at points in time we thought might shatter the windows but
we would do anything to hear it once more time. We will never forget watching you and Haydn outside in your diapers and boots playing with
sticks and running with the dogs on the property covered head to toe in dirt having the best time of your life. You boys threw us for a ringer. We had no idea what we were getting into when you were both born, we were flying by the seat of our pants learning how to raise two rambunctious boys. But we wouldn’t have changed it, not even with
all the “WTF” moments you both created with Haydn.

These are the moments we will always keep in our hearts and remember you by. We will
always wonder what life could have looked like with the Bash Bro’s growing up going to school together, getting your driving licenses together, your first kisses, your first loves, and the lovely wife you would have picked with your brother as your best man. But we will never forget the life you lived, the memories you gave us, and the
countless lives you changed around you.

We were chosen as a family because WE are strong. We were chosen because we could handle it. Axel was chosen. He was chosen for a
reason, because he has and will change lives in masses. He was chosen because he was strong enough. Axel’s strength is nothing short of
heroic and his legacy will live on for eternity (plus what other family honestly gets to brag about their 2 year old being a hero changing so many lives?).

Axel Crew Acosta your strength will never be
anything less then #Axelstong! Mommy, Daddy, and Haydn will see you again. We love you always and forever sweet boy.
