Black & Brown Studio & Community Space

The Femmies  is a POC Queer group located in NYC lead by Elle Swoope. We are interested in opening a social membership space for our black and brown communities that will be used for creativity, wellness, healing, and organizing. 

We are hoping to create a space that will provide a sense of belonging and that is supportive to the health and growth of our community. It is important to me that this space be one of respect and acceptance and help forge the gap in the black and brown community both within our own communities and together.

We are asking for $10 per person which means we only need 375 donations to meet our goal! However, all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. 



PURPOSE:  To be a safe space for Black and Brown folx, free from racism, misogynior/misogyny,  homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, xenophobia, etc.

MISSION: To provide a donated/low cost space for local black and brown healers to facilitate their gifts while community space for small events, education, organizing, and wellness.

VISION:  A beautiful and open environment free from homophobia, transphobia, and misogynoir, and etc and that provides healing and liberation for our community in a safe and secure environment. 

LOCATION:
BROOKLYN, NY 

HOW WE WILL SURVIVE:
We will have monthly membership as well as donated based rental. We will also have an hourly rental rate.
