Blessed To Help Inc. Van Purchase Fundraiser !!!

Blessed to Help is a Prince George’s County Maryland non-profit organization. Its mission is to eradicate hunger and promote literacy in Prince George’s County. For the past three years, BTH has been distributing food in PGC on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Over this time the number of families coming to get food has increased each year. BTH purchases food for distribution. It has also been the beneficiary of generous donations of food from a local grocer. In preparation for the distribution, BTH’s team of volunteers have been graciously using their vehicles to help with food pick up and distribution at multiple pickup sites including local grocery stores for purchased goods and to pick up donated food. While this support has been invaluable, sometimes the amount of donated food that the organization can get for distribution to the community is limited by the size and number of vehicles available to do the pick-ups. We realize that a longer term solution to our transportation needs is much needed. Please join us in making a difference. We are in desperate need of a van to transport food and volunteers. As we expand our efforts into partnering with schools in the community to advance literacy, a van is needed to enhance outreach to the community.
